Please note that we will be training GS on Sunday. Please bring GS gear.
I trust that everyone has thawed out from the weekend. We were treated to some great training on Saturday and free skiing on Sunday. What impressed us was watching some of you make big changes in your skiing Sunday by focusing on the fundamentals. It was needed to make sure you could get through the snow. Now take those solid fundamentals (active pole touch, good athletic stance, moving with and into the new turn) into the course and you will see positive results.
This weekend we have another Slalom at Bromley. And the Vermont Cup Slalom Finals are the next Saturday at Bromley. We have also been looking for another GS race and Jiminy Peak in Massachusetts is hosting a race on Sunday February 3rd. It is a great GS venue and I encourage you all to sign up. The race is on www.adminskiracing.com, however select Tri-State instead of VARA to find the race. After the next two weeks with a heavy focus on racing we will have break for a good solid block of training.
Saturday: VC Slalom at BOC
Sunday: GS training
